By placing dental implants (in other words artificial root) fixed dental prosthesis can be made which are completely equivalent to lost, natural teeth, without having to prepare natural teeth which remained. Nowadays implants surgical techniques have reached an advanced state that makes possible replacing the missing tooth when it is extracted, or within a few weeks time. In many cases it is still really possible to bond inmediately a crown to the placed artificial root. By this way our patient will leave our office without tooth gaps after the surgery, with aesthetically restored teeth.

If the lack of teeth is wide-spread, teeth can not be restored by bonded dental restorations in the traditional sense of the word, but by removable denture. In these situations completing remained teeth with implants fixed dental restorations can be made, and by this way unpleasant feeling of getting used to and wearing removable denture can be avoided. If it is not possible to make fixed dental restorations at all, stability of removable dentures can be considerably increased by bonding them to implants.

Material of implants is titanium of high cleanness, or zirconium dioxide, incidence of allergic reaction to it is nearly zero.

Unfortunately, despite the most cautious treatment, implants can be thrown out in 1- 2 % of surgery, because of unforeseeble circumstances. That is why, so as to finish dental implant placements successfully in the majority of cases, it is required to have a complete blood and urine test for placing dental implants.

2. Bone augmentation sinus elevation (Csontpótlás, arcüreg feltöltés)

These procedures are additional surgeries of placing an implant in those cases when there is not enough bone where to place an artificial root. We work with high cleanness synthetic bone augmentation materials, which give their place being absorbed continuously to the newly formed bone. By this it is possible to correct functionally or aesthetically disadvantageous jaw-bone forms.

3. Wisdom tooth extraction surgery (Bölcsességfogak sebészi eltávolítása)

A wisdom tooth which has become stuck in the jaw, or broken partway through your gums can often cause inflammation and pain. In order to have a successfull orthodontics in the long run, treatment often has to be completed by removal of wisdom tooth. Generally in these cases wisdom tooth break through at an awkward angle, or in a wrong position because of lack of place, putting at risk other teeth health and place.

4. Orthognathic (jaw) surgery (Állcsontsebészet)

Orthognathic (jaw) surgery is to correct contracted, or innate deviations of jaw, bone replacements, bone transplants, bone surgery which precede dental restoration (implants, removable dental replacements) belong to this treatment group.

5. Conscious sedation (Éber szedálás)

With the assistance of an anesthetist it is possible in our office, in a separate room, designed especially for this purpose, to perform dental treatments and dental surgery under sedation.

Our patients are examined on one occasion by our anesthetist before the treatment, and if he or she considers necessary, he or she may require laboratory tests (blood count, blood sugar test, liver and kidney function test, ions, prothrombin), ECG, and a lung X-ray screening dated not more than six months ago.

6. How should you arrive for conscious sedation? (Hogyan érkezzen éber szedálásra?)

Please, arrive at the office one hour before your appointment. It is recommended that you wear comfortable clothes, and avoid tight clothing. If dental intervention lasts more than 1,5 or 2 hours, it is necessary that sedation be realized in several steps. Thus sedation makes possible do work of long weeks at one time, without any inconvenience.

7. Steps of sedation  (A szedálás menete)

At the beginning of sedation a little plastic venous cannula is inserted into a vein on the back of the hand. Narcotics and analgesics are administered through this cannula. After falling asleep swallowing reflexes are eliminated. Please, do not eat or drink anything six hours before anesthesia!

During the intervention your pulse, blood pressure and oxigen level of blood (oxigenation) are under control, and monitored continuously by machines. If the case requires, pure oxygen is administered into the lungs through an oxygen pipe so as to compensate worse air change of more superficial breathing.

After anesthesia you can have a rest of after-effects of sedation comfortably in our office, and having gone the effects of the drugs, you can go home with your companion.

You shall not drive a vehicle, or use an electric houshold appliance or device, or which has a cutting edge the day of the sedation.

Dental treatment carried out under sedation is comfortable, correct, fast, provides relaxed working conditions for the dentist, and patient „sleep” during the intervention they have believed scary.

There are some phases of the dentist work which require patient’s cooperation so as to be performed correct, and are completely painless. They are not recommended to be performed under sedation, for example bite positioning after placing dental replacements or dental fillings.

We are waiting for your visit with love and competence!
